How Speed Dating works!
On our speed dating nights, we like to create a fun and relaxing atmosphere with a 30 to 45 minute arrival window, to enter at your leisurely pace . Everyone receives a warm welcome, wears a name badge, and is shown a quick briefing of the format. Whilst you are settling in, you can grab yourself a refreshing drink from the bar and chat to fellow daters.
Get ready........the first bell rings, to signal the start of the mini dates! 🔔
🛎 During the Event
For the Speed Dating segment, ladies stay seated, as the gentlemen rotate tables, one by one - when the bell rings!
As you meet each person, enjoy your conversations, simply fill in your matchcard afterwards, and indicate whether you'd like to see them again. If you have both selected a Tick ✔️or Yes for each other that equals a MATCH (you are informed the next day)!!
You get five minutes per date. Plus there are mingling opportunities throughout, with intervals in between for toilet breaks and a drink top up.
The number of dates you get at an event are dependant on ticket sales, and venue size! We aim for a minimum of eight mini dates per person, to a maximum of fifteen!
Notes can be included on your matchcard, to help make your decision for the matching process. We suggest taking a photo of your completed matchcard, for your own records, before handing back to the host, before you leave the venue.
💌 After the Event
You will be contacted the following day, with your match results, and the phone numbers of those you have been matched with. Who makes the next move? It's entirely up to you.....
